TSKUK National Competition Success for ESKA Students + Updated Grand Prix

On Sunday 9th July, Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre hosted the 8th TSKUK National Junior and Cadet Open Shotokan Championships.

Over 200 competitors from across the country competed in both individual and team events in kata and kumite.

Over 60 students from ESKA made the trip to Southend, each showing a fantastic standard of karate and sportsmanship! The high level of karate resulted in an outstanding amount of medals being won during the competition. At the end of the day ESKA students had won a total of 88 medals:

37 Gold

11 Silver

34 Bronze

Congratulations to all the medallists and to Shannon Marment from ESKA who won the Competitor of the Day Award for winning an outstanding 3 gold medals.

We look forward to next years event in Norwich.
