The WUKF held their 13th World Karate Championships from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th July. The championships were held at Malmo Arena, Malmo, Sweden. The event saw 1,709 athletes from 33 countries showcase their passion for Karate.
The ESKA members representing the TSKUK did an amazing job securing 5 Gold, 1 Silver & 8 of the total 7 Gold, 2 Silver & 12 Bronze acquired, placing the TSKUK 13th out of 66 overall.

Sunday 6th July 2025 saw ESKA hold their annual Novice Kata & Kumite Competition. This event was the perfect opportunity for those with little or no previous competition experience to give competitive Karate a go. The event was a great success with over 60 entrants taking part, many for their first ever time. The competition was held at The Dojo Norwich. Well done to all those that entered.
The 2025 TSKUK National Championships, held in Norwich, Norfolk, on 18th May 2025 was an outstanding event. With 140+ competitors, the level of skill and sportsmanship was truly impressive.
The organisation was smooth, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone. The atmosphere was lively, with supporters adding to the day’s excitement.
Competitors demonstrated impressive technique and dedication, making each match and performance engaging. The judges and officials maintained fairness and professionalism throughout.
Overall, the 2025 TSKUK National Championships was a great success. Congratulations to all involved for making it so.

On Sunday 24th November 2024, ESKA members attended the TSKUK Members Course and Black Belt Grading in Norwich, Norfolk. The grading took place in front of a panel including Sensei Jason Hitchings 6th, Sensei Nathan Bond 6th Dan, Sensei Charlie Tarr 5th Dan, Sensei Dave Lynskey 4th Dan, Sensei Mason Gill 4th Dan, Sensei Matthew Potter 3rd Dan & Sensei Ethan Dye 3rd Dan.
A very successful grading resulted in 25 students achieving their Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt), 8 student achieving their Nidan (2nd Dan Black Belt).
The WUKF held their 14th European Championships from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th October. The championships were held at Municipal Sports Facility, Pruszków, Poland. The event saw 1,725 athletes from 25 countries showcase their passion for Karate, marking one of the most successful European Championships in WUKF history.
ESKA members representing the TSKUK, contributed 5 Silver & 8 Bronze to the tally, placing the TSKUK 18th out of 54 federations.
