We will be holding our 2nd Junior, Cadet and Adult Interclub competition of the year on Sunday 17th May 2019 at UEA Sportspark, University of East Anglia, Earlham Road, Norwich, NR4 7TJ.

 

This competition gives all ESKA members an opportunity to try their hand at the competitive side of Karate without the added pressure of competing in a larger, national event.

There will be 2 individual Kata events (Tokui and Heian) and 2 team Kata events (Pairs and 3 Person Team). The competition is open to juniors (6-14 years old), cadets (15-17 years old) and adults (18 years+). There will be awards presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

All competitors will be competing against other students at a similar level and ability. All events are separated by grade and age.

 

If you would like to enter, just fill in a competition entry form and return it to your administrator along with your entry fee by Sunday 10th May.

On Sunday 19th January 2020 ESKA held their first Interclub competition of the year at the UEA Sportspark in Norwich. The competition was an individual Kumite, individual Kata and individual Fuko-Go event with juniors, cadets and adults all competing. The competition was very well attended with over 140 students taking part across 43 categories. As always there was a great display of karate and sportsmanship on display.

A special congratulations to Kamile Zubovaite who won the Competitor of the Day Award for winning gold medals in all 3 of her events.
