HDKI Open National Championships 2023 – Results

The HDKI held their annual Open National Championships on Saturday 14th October. The championships were held at the Portway Lifestyle Centre, Oldbury.

The TSKUK Squad was made up from members of Eastern Shotokan Karate Association & Westwood Karate Academy.

Here is a breakdown of the results:

Individual Kata – 3rd Kyu & Above – 12 to 15 Years

Gold – Evey Fuller (ESKA)

Individual Kumite – All Grade – 10 to 11 Years- Male

Gold – Sam Cope (ESKA)

Silver – Toby Thackham (ESKA)

Individual Kumite – 10th to 4th Kyu – 20 Years & Above – Female

Gold – Leone Lynn (ESKA)

Individual Kumite – 3rd Kyu & Above – 16 to 19 Years – Male

Bronze – Alfie Hannent (ESKA)

Individual Kumite – 3rd Kyu & Above – 12 to 15 Years – Over 5’2″ – Male

Bronze – William Fone (ESKA)

Mixed Team Kumite – 3rd Kyu & Above

Bronze – Mac Oats (Westwood Karate Academy) / Alfie Hannent (ESKA) / Hannah Mitchell (Westwood Karate Academy)

ESKA secured 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 3 Bronze.
