The WUKF held their 14th European Championships from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th October. The championships were held at Municipal Sports Facility, PruszkΓ³w, Poland. The event saw 1,725 athletes from 25 countries showcase their passion for Karate, marking one of the most successful European Championships in WUKF history.
Sunday 6th October 2024 saw ESKA hold their annual Individual & Team Kumite Competition. This event was the perfect opportunity for members to test their Kumite prowess against their peers. The event was a great success with over 70 entrants taking part, some for their first ever time. The competition was held at The Dojo Norwich. Well done to all those that entered.

The second leg of the 2024 GB Open International Karate Championships, held at the University of Sport & Fitness, Birmingham, on Sunday 15th September was a great event.

ESKA Beach Day 2024

Come and join the ESKA Karate instructing team for a day of beach games and fun!!
You will find us to the right of the main access slope to the beach, past the cafe.
This event is open to all ESKA Members, their families & their friends.
Donβt forget to bring a picnic.
All members under 16 Years MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Parking is available at Beach Car Park, Beach Road, Mundesley (Pay & Display).
This Car Park does get busy so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Due to the content and length of this course, it is only open for Brown Belt or Above, Aged 12 Years+.
Sensei Iain Abernethy has been involved in martial arts since childhood. Iain holds the rank of 7th Dan with the British Combat Association (one of the worldβs leading groups for close-quarter combat, self-protection and practical martial arts), the British Combat Karate Association, and the English Karate Federation.
One of the leading exponents of applied Karate, Iain has written several critically acclaimed books on the practical application of traditional martial arts. He is well known for his work on the pragmatic use of the techniques and concepts recorded in the traditional Kata. Iainβs seminars, books, DVDs and articles have proved very popular with those groups and individuals who wish to practise their arts as the pragmatic systems they were initially intended to be.
