ESKA Individual & Pairs Kata Competition ’24 – Results

April 23, 2024

The Dojo Norwich Hosts ESKA Kata Event

On Sunday, 14th April 2024, The Dojo Norwich was the venue for ESKA’s Kata and Kumite competition, drawing in over 100 participants.

The event showcased a wide array of karate skills, with competitors from various age groups taking part in Kata and Pairs Kata disciplines. Participants from beginners to seasoned black belts displayed exceptional precision and expertise, engaging the audience and judges.

Kata involved performers executing a series of moves in a fixed sequence, simulating defense and attack motions against imaginary foes, with judges evaluating based on technique, timing, and the demonstration of power.

Beyond being a competitive event, the ESKA Kata competition celebrated the club’s ethos of sportsmanship, discipline, respect, and continual growth.
