After the great news that The Dojo Norwich is reopening for physical classes on Monday 27th July 2020, we want to update members with some social distancing, cleaning and safety measures we have implemented for your safe return to training. These include:

  • A one way entry and exit system with clear, visible signage to ensure controlled access to The Dojo Norwich
  • Your own designated training area to maintain social distance between you and other students
  • All showers and changing rooms will remain closed, but fully sanitised toilets will be available for use
  • Only students training will be permitted into The Dojo Norwich; parents are required to wait outside or in their car
  • Increased mechanical airflow fan will be available to support ventilation
  • Daily fogging using Sterizar Disinfectant solution (30 day contact protection)
  • Daily deep cleaning of the Dojo training area and all common areas, with high contact points cleaned and sterilised using Sterizar wipes (30 day contact protection)
  • Hand sanitising for entry and exit points of The Dojo Norwich
  • All Senior Instructors have undertaken training and are certified in Covid safe training
  • Full COSHH certification for all instructors to ensure safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Contactless registration for attending members; no training cards required
  • Full online booking system in place for physical classes at The Dojo Norwich
  • Designated areas for shoes and outside clothing (please come dressed in your karate suit as there will be no changing facilities available)
  • Full support and guidance from your instructor who will meet you at the entrance to The Dojo Norwich and direct you safely to your training area
